The auspicious Matangi (Syamala) Navaratri will be celebrated from Wednesday Jan 29 - Thursday Feb 6, honoring Sri Raja Matangi (Sri Raja Syamala), who blesses devotees with artistic talent, divine intelligence, and the ability to attract all spiritual and material blessings.

Sponsors will be included in the sankalpam on the last day and a small ahuti will be offered on their behalf into the homa fire. These sponsors will also receive blessed thread and homa raksha.
