Yajurveda Upakarmam

Upakarmam, also known as Avani Avittam, is a Hindu ceremony where one will replace their sacred thread (Yajnopavitam) and is observed on different days depending on the Veda followed. In 2025, Yajur Veda Upakarmam will be held on August 8th, 2025.
 
This is a in-person participation puja only. Participants would need to be at the temple before 6 AM. Please make sure you come dressed according to the Temple Dress Code.
